Article Threaded base plate Ø 38 mm (foot spindle) System-free scaffolding component
Application The threaded base plate can be used for all types of scaffolding with the standard scaffolding tube (Ø 48.3 cm). In contrast to normal feet, threaded base plates are used to compensate for slight and medium unevenness of the base surface by means of spindles. Since scaffolding must always be set up in a horizontal position, it is almost always necessary to adjust the foot heights. Please remember that the top 15 cm of each scaffolding foot spindle cannot be used for stability reasons. The thread at the base of the scaffold is secured by an interruption against accidental spindling over the specified limit. Scaffolding feet are also used for some special industrial constructions and in mechanical engineering.
Additional information and notes
The larger the spindle dimension, the greater the flexibility in the scaffolding construction: For significantly larger height compensation, e.g. basement light shafts, a so-called reduction tube can be used, which enables an additional height compensation of up to 1.0 m.
