Application
The horizontal brace is used in standard scaffolding mainly in three functions. Firstly, it acts as a stabilizer in the structure as a horizontal member between scaffold bays. Secondly, it also serves a dual function in the three-part side protection. The rear guardrail covers fall protection at back height as well as fall protection at knee height as a knee rail. Unlike a conventional rear guardrail, the brace is not attached to guardrail boxes, but directly to the frame.
